Description:
Bring your portraits to life with the rich, luminous magic of pastels! Working from a live model allows you to study accurate human form and color relationships. Strengthen your drawing skills while experimenting with bold, expressive color through layering and broken-color techniques. With personalized guidance for all skill levels, this class encourages creative freedom and expression.
We’ll work with a different model each week, allowing students to explore a variety of facial structures, skin tones, and expressions, and keeping the class fresh and engaging. Each session is self-contained, so you may join at any time, while the six-week course builds progressively as we explore key pastel portrait techniques, tools, and approaches.
