Artist Bio
Fang Sullivan is a contemporary figurative artist, classically trained and recognized for her distinctive use of color in both pastel and oil. Guided early on by her artist parents, she earned her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Fang is an instructor at the Pastel Society of America School, where she teaches weekly pastel portrait classes. She also teaches a foundational drawing course for the PSA Academy and actively shares her techniques through demonstrations, workshops, and time-lapse videos on Instagram (@fangsullivan).
Her work spans portraiture, landscape, and still life. In both 2024 and 2025, she received First Prize in the National Association of Women Artists Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories Exhibition. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries throughout the United States.
Fang is an Artist Member of the Salmagundi Club; a Signature Member and Board Member of the Pastel Society of America; a Signature Member of the American Artists Professional League; a Signature Member of the National Association of Women Artists; and a member of the American Impressionist Society.
